3 Healthy Grab And Go Breakfasts

Early mornings can be busy and I often find myself running out of time to make decent breakfasts, especially during the week. In order to prepare for these days, I have a few staple grab-and-go meals that I can whip up in no time, ensuring that I have a decent nutritious breakfast to start off my day despite my lack of time to prepare it. Here are my 3 favourite!

Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats Breakfasts

The simplest of breakfasts, Overnight Oats are fantastic because you can make them the night before and get them out of the fridge in the morning. The flavour variations are endless too, as you can add pretty much anything you fancy. This is one of my usuals:

*50g oats*
*150ml milk of your choice*
*50g Greek yoghurt
*1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)*
*50g fresh blueberries*
*1 square dark chocolate*

Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl, box or jar. Leave in the fridge overnight.

Cinnamon + Banana Bagel

Bagel Breakfasts

As they are one of my favourite comfort foods, I always have a packet of bagels stored in my freezer. I’ve recently discovered ‘Bagel Thins’, which are smaller version meaning they have less calories but you still get that satisfying bagel-fix. You can add anything you like on top, from honey to peanut butter, or maybe go savoury with some cream cheese and bacon. I like mine with a sliced banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

High Protein Yogurt Bowl

This one is the ultimate grab-and-go choice as it can be whipped up in a matter of seconds. Greek yoghurt is naturally high in protein and goes perfectly with some fresh or frozen fruit and a sprinkling of muesli. My favourite yogurt brands are Skyr, Liberte or Fage and I always have mine with a handful of berries, some oats, a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
